Windows 12
Microsoft will update and release its central PC operating system, Windows OS, every three years. Thus, the following Windows system will be Windows 12 and it will be released in 2024.



With the release of Windows 10 in 2015, Microsoft stopped doing a major OS version upgrade once every 3 years and gave up OS Updates in the meantime. With this change aimed at the Windows as a service model, Major Updates were provided twice a year instead of a new edition every 3 years. At the same time, it was confirmed that Windows 10 is the last Major Windows version as mentioned in 2015.
